Trump’s statement question about the credibility of India, the silence of the government is condemnable: uT Raj

New -Delhi, September 23 (IANS). US President Donald Trump’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly (Unga) has a political stir in India. In his speech, Trump claimed to have stopped the world’s seven wars. Opposition leaders in India, especially the leader of Congress, UTh Raj, expressed a sharp response to his statement. Udit Raj mentioned Donald Trump’s statement as insulting to the international credibility of India. He said: “Donald Trump has been trying to place an indirect responsibility for the Russia Akraine War against India in the UNGA. It is extremely disgraceful for India. The government must resist it. The United Nations General Assembly said what US President Donald Trump said, India fell more than he said.” He also questioned Trump’s allegation stating that he had stopped the Indo-Pakistan War. Udit Raj calls it a statement that weakens India’s image and says: “Trump has claimed 40 times and now repeats again. It makes India look weak in the eyes of the world.” Udit Raj has Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Foreign Minister Sk Jaishankar’s silence was also targeted. He said Trump gave India 24 hours, but that the government of India had “surrendered” within five hours. With reference to the meeting of the Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar with the recent US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, he questioned the use of such meetings, when Trump makes such comments against India the next day. He said: “S Jaishankar should have given an appropriate answer to Donald Trump, as Indira Gandhi did in her time.” Udit Raj, who describes the government’s foreign policy as poor, said: “Our Foreign Minister does not have the courage to answer. It is harmful to India’s image. Countries like China are responding to such comments immediately, but India remains silent.” He demanded the government that he had filed strong opposition to Donald Trump’s statements. -Ians Aks/DSC shares this story -tags
