Turkish and international airlines suspend their flights in the region as a result of the Israeli attack on Iran – ryan
In Turkey, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdelkader Uraloglu, announced that Turkish airlines, led by Turkish Airlines, canceled all their flights to Iran, Iraq, Syria and Jordan, until Monday, June 16, indicating that the air tracks were re -planned to avoid the “risky” atmosphere.
Uraloglu said, through the X platform, that the air closure of Israel, Iran, Iraq and Syria comes due to “the increase in security threats after the Israeli aggression against Iran,” stressing that the General Directorate of Civil Aviation has taken the necessary measures in coordination with national airlines.
In a related context, Emirates Airlines announced the suspension of its flights to and from Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Iran, while Abu Dhabi International Airport expected turmoil in a number of flights. Dubai Airports Company also confirmed that there are delays or cancellation on some flights leaving from Dubai International Airport and “Al Maktoum” due to the closure of the atmosphere over Iran, Iraq and Syria.
For its part, Qatar Airways decided temporarily to suspend its flights to Iran and Iraq. The General Administration of Civil Aviation in Kuwait also announced “transfer, cancellation, and reschedule” a number of flights through Kuwait International Airport.
In Europe, Air France suspended its flights to Tel Aviv “until further notice,” and a company spokesman told “France Press” that the decision came after the closure of the Israeli airspace, adding that the affected travelers could replace their tickets for free. On the other hand, the company maintained its flights to Lebanon and other countries in the region.
As for the German “Lufthansza” group, it announced the suspension of its flights to Tehran until July 31, and extended the suspension of its flights to and from Tel Aviv to the same date. In the same context, the Swiss Airlines, owned by “Lufthansa”, suspended its flights to Tel Aviv until October 25, and suspended its flights to Beirut until the end of next July.
Russian, the Civil Aviation Authority, “Rosavatia”, recommended Russian airlines not to fly over Israel, Jordan, Iraq and Iran, or use the airports of those countries, provided that this ban continues until June 26 or even another notice.
In India, Air India reported that a path or re -directed 16 flights between India and cities in Europe and North America has been transferred due to sudden developments in Iran. “Flight Ayer” reported that flights to Vienna and London had to return after entering the Iranian airspace while carrying out the Israeli attack.
