Türkiye, China and Saudi …. Pakistan gets support from 3 big countries! What will be the international response to India’s actions? Know expert opinion

There was an important defense agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif signed the agreement called ‘Strategic Recipient Defense Agreement’ on Wednesday. The most important aspect of this agreement is that the attack on any country will be considered an attack on both. This is considered important to India and many experts have given their opinion on it. American expert Michael Kulegman, who monitored the geopolitics of South Asia, says the agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is special. Pakistan not only signed a new mutual defense agreement, but also signed an agreement with a country that is also a major ally in India. It cannot be said that this agreement will prevent India from attacking Pakistan. It is true that Pakistan is in a very good position with the support of three major powers – China, Türkiye and now Saudi Arabia. It is nothing new in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. West Asia expert Zahak Tanveer says this agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is not new. Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have previously concluded similar defense agreements, but their goal has always been to protect the safety of Saudi Arabia, not Pakistan. During the Iran-Irak War (1980-1988), Islamabad assured that the attack on Saudi Arabia would be considered an attack on Pakistan. However, it was more a political assurance than a binding treaty. During Operation Asifat Al-Hazm in 2014-15, Saudi Arabia formed an alliance of Islamic countries (except Iran and Syria). Former Pakistanian Army General Raheel Sharif has been appointed to lead the alliance. During Pakistan’s wars (1965, 1971 and Kargil 1999) with India, Riyadh provided financial and diplomatic assistance to Islamabad, but did not deploy the army against India. Will Saudi Arabia harm the relationship with India? Tanveer says Saudi Arabia has never defended Pakistan’s actions in the sponsor of terrorism against India. Saudi Arabia has deep strategic and economic relations with India. As such, Saudi Arabia will not endanger its global reputation by supporting Pakistan’s military courage. Zahak is of the opinion that the essence of the new agreement, as previous agreements, focus on Saudi Arabia. The Pakistani army often served as a ‘tariff army’ serving Saudi interests. The Saudi Army has never been deployed to attack India to protect Pakistan, nor will it be done. India and Saudi Recovery spokesman for the Indian Foreign Ministry has given a limited response to the Saudi-Pakistan agreement. He said he had received information about this and that the ministry was watching it. He said we look at it in terms of its impact on global and regional safety. Meanwhile, a senior Saudi official emphasized the relationship with India. He said: “Our relations with India are strong. We will continue to develop this relationship and make every possible contribution to regional peace.” Share this story -tags
