Two men in Tangerang arrested by the police for the distribution of illegal hard drugs

Jakarta – Two men, AS and AZ, were arrested by the Jatiuwung police. Both of them were arrested after illegally selling the hard drug tramadol. Jatiuwung Police Chief Rabiin explained that the US was initially arrested first. AS was arrested after residents detained him because they were suspicious of the offender’s buying and selling of hard drugs. “(The complainant and witness) pretended to buy the drug. When AS tried to take the drug that was stored in his jacket, the two of them immediately arrested the offender and reported him to the Jatiuwung Police,” Rabiin told reporters on Wednesday (22/10/2025). During the arrest, the police found evidence of 57 Tramadol drugs and IDR 100,000 in cash, believed to be the proceeds from the sale of the illegal drug. After AS was arrested, the police conducted an in-depth investigation. As a result, another offender, AZ, was also arrested. “The police have also arrested another offender, with the initials AZ, who is believed to be involved in this case,” says Rabiin. Rabiin also said that he will continue to eradicate the circulation of illegal drugs. He said this was done to maintain public health and enforce the law in the Jatiuwung jurisdiction.
