Two soldiers killed during Operation Guddar in Jammu and Kashmir's Culgam eliminated two terrorists
Operation Guddar: Two soldiers were killed and two terrorists were eliminated in a fierce meeting in the Kulgam district in South Kashmir on Monday, September 8, officials said. Indian army, J&K police and CRPF performed a joint operation after receiving after receiving specific intelligence input. According to preliminary reports, one of the killed terrorists was a local resident, while the other is presumably a foreign militant familiar with the codename ‘Rehman Bhai’. Three army staff were also injured in the incident; Two of them under Perbhat Gaur and L/NK Narender Sindhu later succumbed to the hospital, officials said, reports Pti. The Srinagar-based Chinar Corps of the Army took to X and said: “Based on specific intelligence inputs by JKP, a joint search operation was launched by #indianarmy, @jmukmrpolice & @crpf_srinagar in Guddar Forest of #kulgam.” It was added that vigilant troops noticed suspicious activities, and after being challenged, the terrorists launched a firearm, who asked a fierce exchange of gunfire during which one terrorist was eliminated and a junior commissioner officer sustained injuries. One soldier sustained injuries and is evacuated due to the necessary medical care. The identity of terrorists is determined, ‘the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army said earlier.
