After coming together in Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray have been seen many times together on different stages. This time both brothers were seen together in Shivaji Maharaj Maidan. As always, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) celebrated a grand Deepotsav at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Maidan in Dadar, Mumbai. This year the Deepotsav program was special for Raj Thackeray. It goes beyond politics and gives the message of brotherhood. On the call of MNS chief Raj Thackeray, his brother and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray attended the program for the first time. Thackeray also inaugurated the programme. Deepotsav has become a symbol of unity. Uddhav Thackeray was at the inauguration with his wife Rashmi Thackeray and son Aditya Thackeray. Both the families lit lamps together, spreading the new light of unity and harmony in the atmosphere. The presence of Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray on stage became a topic of discussion in the politics of the state. BJP and other parties in Maharashtra were surprised by the coming together of the two brothers. Message of harmony for Maharashtra Raj Thackeray said, “Deepotsav is not just a festival of lights but a festival of unity and culture. Uddhavji and his family are among us today. It is a message of harmony for the whole of Maharashtra.” The whole ground was illuminated with the light of lamps. Amidst the sparkle of thousands of lamps, the tunes of Marathi folk music, lezim and traditional dances gave a cultural flavor to the occasion.
