Charlie Kirk's funeral today: who can attend, timing and other key details

A public memorial for Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist and a close ally of President Trump who was killed last week, will be held in Arizona on Sunday morning. The service will take place at the State Farm Stage in Glendale, a suburb of Phoenix where Kirk’s organization, Turning Point USA, is based. According to New York Times, access to the funeral is free and, according to New York Times, will be on a first class, first-served basis. Participants were invited to register online in advance. Who is expected to talk? President Trump and several senior members of his administration will address the memorial. Vice President JD Vance, who was a close friend of Kirk, will also speak. Cabinet members participating include Marco Rubio, Secretary of State; Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense; Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence; Susie Wiles, Chief of the White House; and Stephen Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff and a key figure in the formation of Mr. Trump’s domestic policy agenda. Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, who has taken over the leadership of Turning Point USA since his assassination, has also been scheduled to make comments.
