UGC – Just December 2025: Online registration begins. Check the last date to apply, fee submission and correction

The National Test Agency (NTA) opened the online registration portal for the UGC on Tuesday 2025 exam. The NTA will do the exam for 85 subjects in a computer -based test mode (CBT). The last date for submitting the online application is November 7. The admission test is conducted to determine the suitability of Indian citizens for the following in Indian universities and colleges: UGC-Net is offered every year every year and December. Upload a scanned passport size photo and signature; Both of these pictures should be in JPEG format. Pay the UGC -Netto Application Fee UGC Net December 2025: Application fees General – Unconditioned: £ 1,150 General – EWS/OBC -NCL: £ 600 SC/ST/PWD/Third Gender: £ 325 Important instructions for candidates: The application form in any other mode will not be accepted. Only one application must be submitted by a candidate. Candidates must strictly follow the instructions available in the information bulletin on the NTA website. Candidates who do not meet the instructions will be disqualified. Candidates must ensure that the e -mail address and cellphone number provided in the online application form are only their own or their parents/ guardians, as all information/ communications will be sent to the registered email address or SMS to the registered cellphone number by email. Candidates are advised as far as possible to use Aadhaar verification while filling out the application form, as it will facilitate the registration and examination process, especially in the examination centers, as well as the processing of their JRF. The award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and/ or suitability for assistant professorate depends on the total performance of the candidate in Paper-I and Paper-II of UGC-Net. Candidates who qualify only for assistant professorate are not eligible for the JRF award. Candidates who qualify for the suitability test for assistant professorate are controlled by the rules and regulations of the relevant universities, colleges or state governments, as applicable, for the recruitment of assistant professors.
