According to official data in Bihar, 18 people died on 10 April 2025 in Nalanda, 2 in Siwan, 1 in Katihar, 1 in Darbhanga, 1 in Begusarai, 1 in Bhagalpur and 1 in Zahanabad.

At the same time, according to the official data released on 9 April, 5 people died in Begusarai, 4 in Darbhanga, 3 in Madhubani and 1 in Samastipur.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed the families of the deceased to give compensation of four lakh rupees.

At the same time, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath Has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased in the state.

According to the data released by the Relief Commissioner Office of Uttar Pradesh, on 10 April 2025, a total of 22 houses and 45 animals have been damaged.

Due to lightning, there has been loss of life in Fatehpur, Azamgarh, Firozabad, Kanpur Dehat, Sitapur, Ghazipur, Gonda, Amethi, Sant Kabir Nagar and Siddharth Nagar.

There was a loss of life in the districts Ballia, Kannauj, Barabanki, Jaunpur and Unnao from the Andhri-Tufan. Apart from this, instructions have been given to assess the damage done to the crops.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has reported that the weather has changed due to moist air and western disturbances coming from the Bay of Bengal, which may last a few more days.
