Credit: Reuters’ advocates for Luigi Mangione asked a federal judge in New York on Saturday for some criminal charges, including the only score he could face the death penalty, of a federal accusation brought against him in the murder of UnitedHealthcare, according to a report by the Associated Press. The 27-year-old accused, who has seized international headlines since the manhunt was for him after Brian Thompson’s fatal shooting, did not plead guilty to the state and federal charges.
