The family asked the police to thoroughly investigate the alleged suicide of a Udayana University (Unud) student with the initials TAS (21). TAS’s father, Lukas Diana Putra, went to the Denpasar City Police (Polresta) and asked for clarification on the chronology of TAS’s death. “The father conducted public relations with the (Denpasar) Police regarding the confusion in the news regarding his son,” said Head of the Public Relations Department (Kasi Humas) of the Denpasar Police, I Ketut Sukadi, as reported by detikBali on Sunday (19/10/2025). PAGE TO CONTINUE CONTENT According to Sukadi, Lukas assessed that the information spread on social media about the fall of TAS from the Unud Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) campus building was different. Sukadi emphasized that the police investigated and correctly explained the information. Separately, Lukas said the family wanted to find the truth about the chronology of TAS’s death. He believes that the chronology circulating so far is still confusing. “I want to know and confirm why my child fell, for example? Did he commit suicide? Was there an accident or other factors?” said Luke. Lukas said the campus could not give the answer he expected. “I only reported my child’s death so that the incident and chronology can be investigated so that the cause of death is clear from the second or third floor,” he concluded.
