Up full of talented youth will play a leading role in building 'developed India': cm yogi

Lucknow, October 13 (IANS). Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh is not only the largest state of the population, but is also a state full of talented youth, which will play a leading role in building an ‘developed India’ in the field of sports, culture and innovation. He said that the path to building a ‘developed India’ goes through Uttar Pradesh and in this direction the ‘developed Uttar Pradesh’ campaign receives a tremendous public support. CM Yogi honored the winning participants at the National Youth Utsav-2025 and Youth Parliament-2025 by giving quotes and tablets in a program arranged in Lucknow on Monday. On this occasion, he launched MLA and MPS sports competitions, also started with youth promotion centers and sports sets to 16,000 Yuvak Mangal Dal and Mahila Mangal Dal. The Chief Minister also honored the best officers for the welfare of the youth. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the distribution of sports material in front of Diwali is a special gift from the government to the youth. More than 1.05 Lakh -youth and women -smangal -dale of the state is working actively and so far sports kits have been provided to more than 80 thousand mangale valleys. Sports competitions begin in every town, from village level to Nyaya Panchayat, Block, Assembly and parliamentary constituency level. These competitions will later take the form of MLA and MP sports competitions. He said that sports are a medium to keep a person healthy. Healthy competition is the inspiration for development. The Chief Minister called on the youth to not only limit themselves to sports, but also to encourage folk songs, folk tales, drama day and cultural programs in the villages. He gives the example of Sonbhadra and said that an atmosphere of enthusiasm in society was created by organizing a tug war competition among the elders there. CM Yogi, who organized the example of Ramlila in towns, said the residents here organize Ramlila by collecting donations and also setting it up by playing different characters. Our youth must also come up in this. He said that folk songs and folk tales are stories of our history and ancestors. It is our responsibility to keep them alive. Currently, the fifth phase of ‘Mission Shakti’ is going through the Uttar Pradesh government on the basis of women’s safety, respect and confidence. The purpose behind this fifth phase is to make women aware and tell them about the programs undertaken at the central and state government level for women’s safety and well -being of women.
