Naxalbari Siliguri was a first -year student of the MA economy at Vidhan Vishwakarma Kashi Hindu University in Western Bengals. He lived in a room on the third floor in Rajnarayan’s home in the Mohanpuri colony. The deceased was a resident of Nepal, but his father works in Siliguri. The deceased was the oldest of two brothers, one sister.
