MPR-BGN, commemorating Constitutional Day Week, holds an exhibition in the parliamentary complex

Jakarta – A number of government agencies worked together on exhibition activities that became a series of constitutional day weeks, on August 19-22, 2025. The secretary general of the first female MPR RI said that the participation of state institutions in this exhibition is very important because each has a strategic role. He explained that the MPR played a role with the DPR and DPD in the formation of laws, overseeing the management of the government and the representation of the people. Including the Constitutional Court that maintains the institution of the Constitution and law, while the library is the center of knowledge that maintains the literacy of the community’s constitution. Meanwhile, the head of the Public Relations and Information System of the Indonesian MPR, Anies Mayangatri, emphasized that this exhibition also confirmed the four national consensus, namely Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Indonesia and unity in diversity as the most important basis of the nation and the state. “As a guardian of these values, the MPR RI plays a strategic role in performing the socialization and correction of the Constitution to the community. One of the efforts to expand the scope of education is through exhibitions of state institutions and libraries,” he said. Anies added that the exhibition not only highlighted the important role of state institutions in maintaining the Constitution, but also emphasizes the strategic role of the library, both nationally and regional, as well as a source of information and constitutional education. Through this exhibition, he is continued, the community is expected to better understand the work of state institutions, the importance of constitutional literacy and the role of information literacy in the life of the country. “The exhibition is also an educational event, where visitors can learn on different relevant topics according to the work field of every state institution,” he continued. He also appreciated the Indonesian Parliament, DPD RI, the Constitutional Court and BGN that participated in this activity. According to him, this participation has become an important part of the success of the occasion, as well as a concrete manifestation of coordination and synergy in building information disclosure and literacy culture in Indonesia. “Hopefully this collaboration can still be established and in the future becomes an inspiration for similar activities,” he added. The opening of the exhibition was characterized by the visit of the Deputy Chairman of the MPR RI, Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono, along with the Secretary -General of the Indonesian People’s Consultative Assembly, Siti Fauziah to each stand, from the Constitutional Court, BGN, DPD, to the MPR RI. The participants in the exhibition also enriched the event by distributing souvenirs and prizes to visitors. In addition, there was a journalist work competition, Fun Walk attended by 3,000 participants on August 30, and the Justicia Half Marathon, which will be attended by 6,000 participants on August 31.
