Unified Payments Interface (UPI) Operator National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) admitted on Saturday, April 12, that the online payment interface had a break due to a technical problem, which people face while using the digital transaction method. In a social media post on platform X, the digital payment body also ensured users across the country that it works to solve the technical problem and update it over any new developments. “NPCI currently has interrupted technical problems, which leads to partial UPI transaction numbers. We are working to solve the problem, and will keep you posted,” NPCI said in the social media post on X. The UPI operator also apologized for the inconvenience people are causing due to the technical issue. People who have popular payment platforms such as PayTm, Google Pay, Phonepe, etc. Used, experienced a significant interruption on Saturday, April 12. “We regret that the inconvenience was caused,” they said in the mail.
