The doctors and hospital staff saw his anger and ran away. According to the information, Sonam Kumari (22), wife of Mantu Yadav, resident of Beli Belwa village in Ramnagar police station area, was admitted to Binu Surgicare on October 13 due to labor pain. As soon as the news of the death was received, dozens of villagers from Sonam’s maternal home Sitapur Balua (Shikarpur police station area) reached the hospital and started creating ruckus. During this time, the family members caught two YouTubers, Manoj Kumar and Azad Kumar, who were making videos, mistook them for hospital staff, forced them into the vehicle and held them hostage in a hotel in Chamua. The family members also misbehaved with him. As soon as the information was received, Jwala Kumar Singh, Head of Police Station, along with his team reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The police took the body into their custody and sent it to Bettiah for postmortem. After about five hours of struggle, the hostage YouTubers were safely freed. The police station chief said three people were detained and questioned. At the same time, the family members of the deceased demanded strict action against the negligence of private hospitals.
