KKB has returned to attack civilians in Yahukimo Papua mountains

Jakarta – Armed Criminal Group (KKB) led by Elkus Kobak has again carried out an attack on Yahukimo, Papua mountains. The offenders are now being cut off again a citizen and must be treated in the hospital. “A citizen has become a victim of prosecution using a sharp weapon allegedly carried out by the armed criminal group (KKB) under the leadership of Elkus Kobak,” said Cartenz peace operation, Brigadier -General Faizal Ramadhani. The incident happened at Jalan Seradala KM 2, DEKAI DISTRICT, YAHUKIMO, Tuesday (6/17) around 19.40 East Indonesian time. The victim is known as Ujang Supriyatna, 29, an entrepreneur from Banten who currently lives in Yahukimo. The neighbor of the victim who heard the scream opened the door and saw the victim in an injured state. “The victim is currently conducting intensive treatment at the Dekai Regional Hospital due to prosecution with sharp weapons in different parts of his body,” he explained. Faizal emphasized that the perpetrators are currently pursued. Staff were deployed to sweep in the area where the perpetrators allegedly escaped. “Currently, the Cartenz Peace Operation staff, Yahukimo police, the Papua Regional Police Brigade and the TNI are a whip and striving for the offenders,” Faizal added.
