A group of US bipartisan lawmakers have written to President Donald Trump urging him to personally attend the Quad Leaders Summit and other key Asian meetings in India. The initiative was led by Representative Gregory W. Meeks, ranking member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives. The letter was also signed by East Asia and the Pacific Subcommittee Chairman Young Kim and Ranking Member Ami Bera, and South and Central Asia Subcommittee Chairman Bill Huizenga and Ranking Member Sidney Kamleger-Dove.
