Uttar Pradesh: Irregularities in payment of bills, deputy CM orders restoration

Lucknow, October 15 (IANS). Irregularities in the payment of bills were costly for the then (year 2022) Chief Medical Officer of Mirzapur, Dr. Rajeev Singhal. Dr. Rajeev is currently posted as a Senior Consultant in Pyare Lal Sharma District Hospital, Meerut. The complaint of irregular payment of bills was investigated, in which Dr. Rajeev was found guilty. Therefore, one of its increments was stopped. Besides, recovery of Rs 4,35,000 from him and punishment for blasphemy was imposed. There have been complaints of irregularities in the transfer of nurses across the state. The case was investigated. In the investigation, Dr. PM Srivastava, who held the post of Director Medical Treatment at that time, found guilty. Dr. PM Srivastava retired. Orders were given to 10 percent of the pension of Dr. Deducting PM Srivastava for three years. Dr. Arvind Gupta, professor and head of the department of nephrology at the Government Medical College, Prayagraj, was accused of private practice. The allegations were found to be true during investigation. Therefore, his three increments were permanently discontinued. The Deputy Chief Minister ordered to punish the Additional Chief Secretary of the Medical Education Department for blasphemy. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Baranwal, Affiliated Medical Teacher in the Directorate General of Medical Education, Principal, Autonomous State Medical College, Deoria, is accused of not making a fresh tender for providing 36 posts on the basis of outsourced manpower during the deployment. It is claimed that the new tender has been canceled again and again. The contract extension was given to the old organization without competent approval. In such a situation, orders were given to the Additional Chief Secretary of Medical Education Department to take departmental action by charge sheeting Dr. to give Rajesh. Dr. Dinesh Singh Martolia, former principal in charge of Government Medical College, Kannauj, was found guilty of extending the contract period of the old institution without competent approval for cleanliness and waste disposal in the medical college premises.
