The Power Corporation prepares itself for a great action on the power workers preparing to go on May 29 on indefinite work boycott, amid the ongoing demonstration against privatization in Uttar Pradesh. According to sources, notices were sent to more than a thousand employees of different power companies. This notice was given by all power companies with Power Corporation. In addition, the notice was also sent to the employees on behalf of the main engineers. In the notice of three pages, it was clearly stated by the power enterprises that if the power system is disrupted, act on the basis of this notice. According to sources, on May 29, as the officials of the joint conflict committee boycott and disrupt the power system, the sword of action depends on all the active employees involved. More than 100 such active members have been identified. Acts can be done against power workers from suspension to dismissal by this notice. Officials of the Joint Conflict Committee on Electricity Employees described the command of the corporation as dictatorial and unconstitutional. It is striking that the Power Corporation has ended the process of giving the charge page before acting against the employees on Friday. According to the amendment made in the staff (discipline and appeal), 2020 of the power workers can now be taken any employee without giving a charge sheet or listening to the party, terminating service or downfall. It is known that the engineers and employees of the Electricity Corporation will not work in protest of the privatization of Purvancal and Dakshinchal Vidyut Vitam Limited from May 29.
