A petition of remuneration of Rs 5 crore has been filed in the district court against the truck driver, truck owner and New India Assurance Company. The court heard all the parties, including the file and the insurance company. The verdict was recently expressed after nearly three years of trial. In this historical ruling, the court considered the income tax return filed by the deceased as the basis of compensation. The court has made it clear in its order that the businessman has been constantly filing income tax returns over the past four years, which is a strong basis of compensation in the case. The court made its ruling after hearing the family of the victim and the insurance company, the court said the insurance company should pay a total of Rs 1.11 crore as compensation to the victim’s family. The court has made it clear that the company will have to pay compensation within a month. Advocate Rajesh Khandelwal said that all the evidence related to the case was held in the Hon’ble Court. After which the court delivered its verdict. The lawyer said the submission of income tax returns by the deceased became the most important basis of compensation in this case. The age of the deceased was 36 years at the time of the accident. The court said that the deceased paid income tax since 4 years before the accident, and on this basis the decision was given by regarding his future income as the basis. Advocates say that every person, whether large or small, has to file their income tax returns, it makes it easier for loan, tax release, compensation, etc.
