Nainital, September 12 (IANS). Four forest workers have postponed their understanding in a dangerous meeting in the crooked area of Ramnagar forests, along the Jim Corbett National Park. During regular patrolling, an adult Tigress (trigress) suddenly came out aggressively near the Krom Kulabanda drain. In this unexpected situation, the forest workers immediately climbed the tree and saved their lives. Range officer of the Ramnagar Forest Partition Shekhar Tiwari said: “Our forest workers were on patrol as usual. Suddenly the situation became tense when the Tigres and his cubs emerged. The forest workers made quick decisions and secured themselves by climbing the tree.” He said patrolling was increased to monitor the activities of the Tigress so that such incidents did not occur again. Tiwari said that a special patrol campaign was started in the curvy environment and that additional monitoring is ensured around the towns so that the Tigers do not come to the settlements. Recent surveys have shown that the number of tigers in the Ramnagar forest division has increased. Nature expert Sanjay Chhinwal considers it a success of biodiversity and conservation efforts. “The increasing number of tigers is a sign of a healthy ecosystem,” he said, but it has also increased the risk of conflict in human wildlife. ‘The forest division started with strict monitoring and special training for this. In the last few years, incidents of tiger attacks in the region have come to light, showing forestworkers in dangerous conditions. Local environmental lover Namit Aggarwal praised the forest division, saying: ‘The bravery of the forest workers and the readiness of the department is admirable. The balance of human safety is needed with wildlife conservation.
