Suryavanshi, who played in place of the injured Sanju Samson, all impressed with his first ball six on the debut. Suryavanshi, who played only his third IPL match, got away from the first ball and adopted like Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Siraj and Washington Sundar. He was particularly brutal against veteran India Pacer Ishant with a 28-run that includes three sixes and two fours. In fact, Suryavanshi was not even born when Ishant made his IPL debut for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2008. He reached his first IPL fifty with two sixes and a four from Sundar in fifth place. As a result, Suryavanshi’s fifth was the fastest in IPL 2025 and the second fastest for Rajasthan Royals in IPL. It was also the fastest by any player against Gujarat Titans. The record for the youngest player to score fifty in IPL was previously held by Suryavanshi’s teammate Riyan Parag (17y and 175d) against Delhi Capitals in 2019.
