Tangerang City – The police arrested two men with the initials DM (25) and RA (19) on suspicion of stealing a motorcycle in Jatiuwung, Tangerang City. The case was revealed on the basis of the GPS installed by the victim on his motorcycle. “The two offenders who were arrested, each with the initials DM (25), acted as jockeys, and RA (19) as the executor who immediately took the stolen vehicle,” Jatiuwung police chief, Commissioner Rabiin, told reporters on Thursday (16/10/2025). This case began when the Jatiuwung Police Operations Team received a report of the loss of a motorcycle equipped with a GPS device. Based on the coordinates detected from GPS, the team pursued and arrested the two offenders at a rental house in Kampung Lamporan, Dukuh, Cikupa, Tangerang Regency. As a result of the investigation, it appeared that the two perpetrators had performed 11 times in the Tangerang City and Regency areas. “We appeal to the public to always be alert and report immediately if a vehicle is lost. We also thank the residents who are actively providing information so that this matter can be resolved quickly,” he said. The perpetrator and evidence are now secured at the Jatiuwung Police.
