VHP expressed concern about the movement against the new WAQF Act, calling on the government to take strict steps

New -Delhi, September 27 (IANS). Vishwa Hindu Parishad International President and Senior Advocate Alok Kumar objected to the announcement of nationwide excitement in protest of the Waqf Act by the All India Muslim Personal Legal Board and other Muslim organizations on October 3. Alok Kumar says that such aggressive movements could pose a serious threat to the country’s peace and social harmony. He made it clear that the Muslims of the country should play an active role for the benefit of their religious and social institutions, not by making such a excitement to spread tension in society. Alok Kumar said that the plan of aggressive movement against the WAQF Amendment Act is not only a challenge for law and order, but it also appears to be part of any strategy inspired by election politics. He called on the central and state governments to keep strict monitoring on such movements and to take strict steps to stop any violent or anti -social activity in time. The VHP also called on the general public to be careful against Jihadi mania and aggression and take the necessary steps to ensure their safety. Alok Kumar expressed concern that the movement was announced despite the case considered in the Supreme Court. He said that when the interim order of the Supreme Court came on the Waqf Amendment Act, the All India Muslim personal legal council and Jamiat welcomed him by accepting it, so the announcement of the movement is now incredible and worrying. According to VHP, if this movement is not controlled in time, it can have a serious impact on the country’s social harmony, peace and law. Alok Kumar said that it is the responsibility of every citizen to maintain the solidarity and integrity of society, and at such a time it is not only necessary to be vigilant, but also part of patriotism. -Ians Pim/DSC shares this story Tags
