Ins Sunayna has reached Mozambia to strengthen naval relations

New -Delhi, April 18 (IANS). The Indian Navy Seafood Ins Sunayna is currently being placed in Africa. Currently ‘ins Sunayna’ is in Africa as the Indian Ocean ship (iOS) ‘sagar’. The ship reached the Nakala port of Mozambia on April 17. The ship had earlier participated in the first session of the Indo-Africa Maritime Partnership Exercise ‘Aymeya 25’ in Dar-E-Salam, Tanzania. ‘IOS Sagar’ is a unique mission based on maritime cooperation from the Government of India. The name is Sagar, which means security and development for everyone in the area. The purpose of this mission is to promote international cooperation between India and many African countries. The ship was marked on April 5 by the Minister of Defense of the Defense of the Carwear Flight Base in India. After leaving India, this modern naval ship took 44 fleet members from nine friendly countries, including Komoros, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Maldive, Mozambique, Seychelle, Sri Lanka and South Africa. After reaching Nakala, the ship was welcomed by commander Nelson H. Mabjia, head of commission. The Mozambia naval tape was also present at the event. According to the Navy, it is planned to organize various collaboration activities and outreach programs during the ship’s port. The purpose of these activities is to promote capacity building, operational coordination and community involvement with the Mozambique fleet. This includes visits, boards, search and sea (VBSS) exercises, as well as joint training on firefighting and damage control procedures. The ship also offers decisive reception for local authorities and dignitaries during the celebration of maritime friendship. A yoga session is arranged by the ship’s crew to promote health and health in a community conversation. A skewer will be assured for Indian migrants and local schoolchildren living here. An inter-school quiz competition focusing on maritime awareness and regional history will also be arranged. In addition, there will also be a visit to the military cadets of the Nampula Military Academy to provide direct information in the naval operations. Upon completion of the Port Tour, staff and officials of Mozambic Navy and officials will come to the Indian ship. The Indian naval ship will leave them for a joint monitoring mission in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in Mozambique. This step will confirm a shared commitment to combating marine safety and non-traditional threats. The Ministry of Defense believes that this port journey is an important milestone to increase maritime collaboration and inter-operations between Indian and Mozambic navy. This will strengthen the maritime partnership in the Indian Ocean region and increase mutual confidence.
