In a sincere statement shared on social media, he announced financial assistance to support the victims and their families. “This is not a huge amount for the loss you suffered. I know that your loss cannot be replaced. It is an irreparable loss. However, it is my duty to stand next to you in this hour and share your sadness,” Vijay said. The TVK chief stated that £ 20 lakh would be given to the families of the deceased and £ 2 Lakh to each injured person. He also assured that party workers would provide continuous support to those treated in hospitals and pray for their quick recovery.
