A policeman was injured after some residents were allegedly attacked by some residents who arrested drunken people in Siwan, Bihar. Alcohol consumption, sale and storage are prohibited in Siwan. The policy team went to Akolhi Village on Wednesday to arrest drunk people. After this, police detained a person and put him in a police vehicle. However, when they tried to take him to the police station, a crowd of residents gathered and attacked them. He also saved the person detained. A video of a crowd gathering and attacking a policeman near the police vehicle became viral. In the video, a group of men is seen pushing, beating and clapping the policeman, while some women and children also stand next to them. This week, six policemen, including a female officer, were injured when a policy team was attacked during an attack in the Rohtas district. According to officials, the police team arrested two accused on Tuesday when they were attacked with sticks and stones. Last month, a Jawan of Bihar police died while saving a criminal by a crowd of residents in the Araria district. On March 12, the team will be led by Assistant Sub -inspector Rajiv Ranjan Malla to arrest Anmol Yadav.
