Viral photographer pays IDR 500 thousand at Tebet Eco Park, Pramono: We are orderly

Djakarta – It has gone viral on social media that visitors who want a photo shoot are charged up to IDR 500 thousand by certain groups at Tebet Eco Park, South Jakarta. DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung emphasized that Tebet Eco Park is free of fees. This resident’s complaint initially went viral after one account commented on Instagram @tebetecopark. He complained that there is a community that asked photographers who take pictures at Tebet Eco Park Rp. 500 thousand. “Tebet pays 500 thousand, deposits 10 percent of the trade to them and then gives them a stall,” one account wrote. Scroll TO CONTINUE CONTENT In response, Pramono emphasized that Tebet Eco Park is a public space and no party should charge fees. He will also discipline these individuals. “No, no, no, no. This is a free Eco Park. So it does not exist, we will regulate it later, OK,” said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday (20/10/2025). When Pramono was further asked about who is the party collecting the fees, Pramono only confirmed that all forms of charges will be handled. “Basically, we will regulate it.
