Tuesday, a day after the Navy officer, Lt Vinay Narwal, who was tortured in a terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, spoke openly about his aspirations and courage, as well as the pain caused by misleading videos on social media related to Narwal and his wife. In the midst of this tragedy, the power of the family is a testament to the spirit of those who send their sons and daughters to serve the land. In response to a viral video claiming that Narwal and Himanshi dance a few minutes before the attack in Pahalgam, his sister Srishti made it clear that it wasn’t his video. He said: “Confirm the family before posting or broadcasting such things. Vinay was everything to me and will stay. I request everyone not to convey wrong information.” He called on the people to honor his brother and say, “This is my humble request and wishes my brother to get the highest honor he really deserves.” His father Rajesh Narwal talked about his son’s ambitions and remembered how he had dreamed of the country since childhood. He said: “Vinay was a deserving student, a fiery officer and a precious boy. Although he completed engineering, he refused to do a private job. He was firm to attract uniforms and do so.” Vinay initially wanted to become a fighter pilot, but his height became an obstacle. “He tried twice to become a fighter pilot, but he could not be eligible because of the need for height. He did not give up and chose the fleet and passed it in his first attempt, ‘he said with pride and pain. Rajesh fought his feelings and said: “The government is doing its job and I am confident that it is all necessary, it is a national tragedy and the whole country stands with us. Only those who suffer such losses, they really understand this pain.” He accepted the quick response of the Jammu and Kashmir administration when he reached Pahalgam to bring his son’s body. “All from local authorities to Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi acted immediately.
