Wall Street Today: US Shares Dimmed before the Fed Policy Decision

At the opening bell, the Dow Jones industrial average increased 20.5 points, or 0.04%, to 45,778.4. The S&P 500 dropped 1.9 points, or 0.03%, to 6,604,87, while the NASDAQ composition fell 0.9 points, or flat, at 22,333.016.
