Wall Street today: US stocks are rising after Trump soften the tone against China

US stocks became higher and climbed significant losses on Monday after President Donald Trump’s softer tone worried about renewed trade in US China. At the Open, the Dow Jones industrial average increased by 218.9 points, or 0.48%, to 45,698,46. The S&P 500 rose by 70.0 points, or 1.07%, to 6,622,53, while the Nasdaq composition rose by 374.2 points, or 1.69%, to 2,2578,674. The US equities fell on Friday after President Trump announced that it was considering a ‘massive increase in rates’ on Chinese imports. This trade tension re -ways has wiped out billions of rands in the market value. Trump posted on social media on Sunday and said, “Don’t worry about China, it’ll all be fine!” And “the US wants to help China, don’t hurt it !!!”
