WAQF Bill will not be implemented in Jharkhand: Irfan Ansari, Minister of Health

DOOGHAR, April 6 (IANS). The WAQF (amendment) Bill 2025 was approved from both houses of parliament. After this, the political rhetoric of the bill has intensified. Dr. Irfan Ansari in the Jharkhand government, Minister of Health and Veteran Congress, said that the WAQF (amendment) bill 2025 would not be implemented in Jharkhand. Irfan Ansari said: “In any case, we will not allow this amendment bill to be implemented in Jharkhand.” Bihar Minister Nitish Kumar and Chirag Paswan made a spade and said: “Muslim society made Nitish Kumar a MLA, MP, Minister and Chief Minister, but he cheated on the minorities.” He said: “I don’t understand that if the Modi government can do nothing good for the good of the minorities, why they bother. Sometimes three divorces, sometimes NRC’s Caa. If the Muslim society didn’t ask, why did the central government bring it?” He appreciated the Supreme Court’s position against the Waqf Amendment Bill, saying: “We thank the congress part for turning to the Supreme Court. We will not allow it to be implemented in Jhark Hand, and if our government is formed in the upcoming election in Bihar, there will not be the waist.” It is noteworthy that the WAQF (amendment) bill was approved in both homes of Parliament amid the stir of opposition MPs. The bill was transferred on Wednesday at two o’clock that night to a discussion about 12 hours in the Lok Sabha, the Lower House of Parliament. There were 288 votes in favor of the bill and 232 votes in opposition. After this, the bill was made in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday.
