WAQF EMMANY ACT is beneficial to ordinary Muslims: Ramdas Athawale
Jaipur, September 15 (IANS). Union Minister Ramdas Athawale described the Waqf Amendment Act on Monday as beneficial to the ordinary Muslims. He said that this bill was brought only so that the interests of ordinary Muslims could be assured. There should be no anger on their interests. He said in a conversation with the news agency that this law will certainly be very beneficial to the ordinary Muslims, given the way in which the wealth of WAQF is in the hands of some Muslims. He said that some people call this law harmful to ordinary Muslims, but there is absolutely no truth in this matter. This bill is not for the loss of ordinary Muslims, but benefit. It will certainly benefit them. However, some people spread confusion for their political profits. Ramdas Athawale said that this bill has now been transferred from both houses of parliament. Some people tried to stay in the Supreme Court, but the Supreme Court refused to stay. However, the Supreme Court has instructed to review some points in the bill. In the coming days, the central government will make a decision on this, which will soon be launched. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju will make a decision on this. In addition, he also talked about theft of votes, saying that I think it is not appropriate to target the prime minister in this entire matter, because the Central Government and the Electoral Commission have no connection among themselves. Election is an independent institution. It is not appropriate to interfere with their work. He said that if the vote is stolen, then the question arises in such a situation that Congress does in power for so many years? The Electoral Commission has made a direction. As a result, these people are scared. If a man has a name in two places, or someone is dead, his name will be removed. The right to vote is important in democracy. We should not forget that Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government could not be formed due to just one vote. In such a situation, the value of votes in democracy must be known. We all need to know how much one vote costs. As for the match in India-Pakistan, Athawale said the Shiv Sena (UBT) said we would protest, but that the match was held in India-Pakistan and that Team India tasted the defeat to Pakistan. Just as Premier Narendra Modi defeated Pakistani terrorists in ‘Operation Sindoor’, Team India tasted the Pakistani cricket team in the same way. -Ians shk/as part this story tags
