There were approximately 50 passengers on the bus at the time of the accident. Police officials said that this private bus was going from Pratapgarh to Jaisalmer. The bus had just reached near Gajan Garh toll when it suddenly became unbalanced and overturned. Due to the accident, the bus was completely damaged and many people who were traveling in it were injured. Local people and passers-by immediately notified the police and ambulance. The injured passengers were admitted to nearby hospitals. After the accident, the passengers present in the bus said that the bus driver was negligent and the accident happened due to excessive speed. Passengers say the driver did not control the bus and suddenly tried to apply the brakes, but the bus lost balance and overturned. With the help of passengers, many people were taken out of the bus and the seriously injured were sent to the hospital after first aid. The Pali police investigated the spot and started questioning the bus driver to find out the reason for the accident. The police officer said the responsibility of the driver will be ascertained and if negligence is found in the accident, legal action will be taken against him.
