We will make IPL the world’s number one league: Arun Dhumal

Mumbai, September 28 (IANS). Indian Premier League president Arun Dhumal said the members of the newly formed committees of the Council of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) were congratulated. He hoped that everyone would work together to improve Indian cricket. Dhumal also repeated his commitment to making IPL to the world’s number one game league. Dhumal told reporters outside the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai: “We have faced many challenges for the past 18 years, whether it be Kovid, Operation Sindoor, or weather conditions that forced us to convey a few games. Thanks to our brilliant team we will make all the problems.” Dhumal wanted the officials in the BCCI election for their roles. He said, he would like to thank all the members for his faith, which he expressed on the new team. We expect a beautiful World Cup and a wonderful IPL ahead and we wish our women’s team for this upcoming World Cup. At the AGM meeting, he said: “Nothing new. We discussed the progress made last season that came out during the secretary meeting. It was also a regular program. I wish everyone and I am confident that they will take the BCCI to new heights.
