Zulhas encourage economic building from town: Co -operatives must live out of his business

Sikka – Coordinating Minister of Food Division Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) encourages economic development from the town. One of them is through cooperatives that he believes should live out of his business. It was transferred by Zulhas when he was a speaker at Muhammadiyah Maumere University, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. He said President Prabowo Subianto tried to carry out economic empowerment of the town, one of which was by the Red and White Village Cooperative. He said the cooperative should live from the business run. He said the cooperative should not only rely on grants. “We are building the economy out of town. Not money that continues. The most important thing is the business first. Co -operatives should live out of their business, not from grant funds or projects that have been up for a year,” he said. Zulhas said heads would run a concrete business, such as channeling subsidized fertilizers, groceries, 3 kilograms of gas and digital financial services. He said the government would facilitate all licensing so that businesses could develop. “The most important thing is not to like the people. But that makes it easy for the business, making it easy for permits. Easy access to goods and markets. It is partially mentioned,” he said. Zulhas also talked about the government’s big plan to build a national salt industry in NTT.
