Kolkata, October 4 (IANS). The sensation spread in the area as a result of the recovery of the body of an unknown woman of a primary school in Purulia district in Western Bengals. Police officers gave information about this on Saturday. According to police sources, the body was recovered from the Alanganga Primary School Campus in Ward Number 21 of Purulia City. The body was found in a part surrounded by the boundary wall of the school. It is feared that the woman may have been killed after she was raped. Once the information was received, local police reached the place and sent the body to postmortem. At present, the investigation into the case has begun. A senior police officer said: ‘The case is registered and the process of identifying the woman is underway. As the state’s government schools were closed due to the holidays of Durga Puja, it is also investigated whether the woman died somewhere else in the school. The case is sent by Purulia Sadar police station. Made to identify the complaints of any missing woman registered in nearby police stations.
