Malda, October 4 (IANS). In the Malda section of Eastern Railway, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) arrested a person involved in the stone incident on the train. This action was taken on September 24, 2025, in connection with the incident of stone between Dasarathapur and Jamalpur Railway Stations at Train Number 13402 (Danapur-Bhagalpur InterCity Express). RPF/Post/Jamalpur was notified of reliable sources, on which a supervision campaign was conducted near Dasharatpur Railway Station and special attacks were carried out. The campaign was led by the sub -inspector JR Mena and Constable Anoj Yadav. 18 -year -old Sachin Kumar, a Munger resident, Bihar, was arrested during the campaign. During interrogation, Sachin admitted that he threw stones on the passing train on the evening of September 24, which damaged a compartment and was in danger of the passengers’ safety. The accused was arrested in terms of section 153 of the Railway Act following the confession of crime. He was taken to RPF/Post/Jamalpur for further legal action. RPF’s quick and effective actions played an important role in ensuring the safety of passengers, and the arrest of the accused is an important step to further strengthen the railroad security system. This incident reflects the vigilance of Malda Mandal to tighten anti -social activities in rail complexes and trains. Through this action, the RPF gave a clear message that no compromise on the safety of passengers would be made. Incidents of stone pose pose a serious threat to railway passengers. Such incidents not only damage the railroad property, but also risk the lives of passengers. RPF of the Malda division increased the supervision after the incident and plans to take strict steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
