In the Farsabhar police station in the Jashpur district, a young man first made a physical relationship by promising a divorced woman, and then making a Vermillion in her claim and pretending to give her a woman’s status and eventually faithfully married someone else. Based on the victim’s charge, Farsabhar police arrested the accused and sent them to jail. The victim told police that she got married in 2000 and had five children. She divorced in 2012 due to family disputes, after which she lived separately with her children. On September 14, 2021, as she left for another village near her village, she met Anup Ekka, a young man out of town, and suggested a love in front of her and speaking of marriage. The woman refused and clarified her position, but the young man assured her that he would marry her. The young man reached his home at night and violently had him violently. A few days later, the accused filled his claim Sindoor and made a false promise of marriage. After this, the accused constantly exploited him until April 17, 2025. When the woman talked about marriage, the accused kept avoiding her. After some time, the woman realized that the accused was secretly married to another girl. When the woman called and asked, the accused clearly said that she did not want a relationship with her right now. The woman filed a charge of fraud against her with the Farsabhar police station. As the seriousness of the case was seen, police acted immediately and arrested the accused Anoop Ekka (27 years old). During interrogation, the accused acknowledged his crime. After getting enough evidence, he was arrested and jailed with judgment. Police in -Charge Sub Inspector Vivek Kumar Bhagat, Asi Shanti Pramod Topo, Constable Nationsaj Tirkey, Ishwar Sai and women’s constable Birjinia Topo played an active role in the investigation and arrest of the case. Jashpur’s senior superintendent of police, Shashi Mohan Singh, said: “Jashpur police are fully careful about crimes against women. In such cases, the culprits will not be spared.
