The roots of modern fashion shows date back to the mid -nineteenth century, when the English fashion designer Charles Friedrich Worth step by step by using real fashion models instead of dolls to display his creativity in Paris.
This step was the beginning of a new era in the fashion world, as fashion shows turned from just offering clothes into an integrated show, according to the “CNN” and “Vogue” sites.

The beginnings of the twentieth century witnessed a remarkable development in fashion shows, as what began to be known as “fashion marches” to spread in cities such as London and New York. These shows were initially small and limited to buyers, and photography was often prohibited for fear of imitating designs.
However, the situation changed radically after the Second World War, when the role of fashion opened its doors to a wider audience and sought advertising.
Christian Dior was one of the most prominent pioneers of this new era, as he made his first fashion show in Paris in 1947, which was characterized by fluffy skirts and narrow specialization, which revolutionized the fashion world and launched what is known as the “new appearance”.

In the eighties and nineties, the show platforms turned into integrated theatrical shows equipped with lighting, sound effects and complex decorations.
In 1998, Yves Saint Laurent, one of the most famous fashion designers in the last century, held a huge fashion show in a full stadium, in which hundreds of models and workers participated, and TV was broadcast to millions of viewers around the world.
