In mythology, Shukracharya is considered the guru of the demons. Nevertheless, the image of Shukracharya is not negative. Shukracharya was born as the son of Maharishi Bhrigu and is called Bhargava. His children’s name was Ushna. Because of his interest in poetry, he was also a poet. However, there is another story of how he got the name Shukracharya. The goddess Bhagwat Purana has the story of the war between the gods and the demons. In that war, the gods dominated the demons. Therefore, to protect himself from the gods, the monster went to the Ashram of the Sage Bhrigu. However, Sages Bhrigu and Shukracharya were not there. Goddess Kavimata was present in his place. Therefore, the demons pleaded for safety, which they accepted as guests. A powerful invisible energy arms created by the woman of the sage surrounded the ashram and protected the demons. The gods also could not distinguish this armor. Why did Shukracharya betray Lord Vishnu? The efforts of all the gods failed. Then he sought help from Lord Vishnu. To maintain the balance of the universe, Lord Vishnu Kavimata, wife of Bhrigu Rishi, beheaded. When Bhrigu came to know Rishi of this incident, he cursed Vishnu to be born in human form on earth and had the sadness of his wife. When Shukracharya received the news of his mother’s death, he began to hate Lord Vishnu and banned the worship of Vishnu in the demons. How did Shukracharya get Sanjeevani Vidya? Angry and tired Guru Shukracharya, who was angry with the defeat of the demons, did serious fine to please Lord Shiva for the purpose of conquering the gods. He finished by hanging up to thousands of years. Lord Indra, who heard of Shukracharya’s great fine, sent his daughter Jayanti to dissolve her fine, but she failed. After this, Jayanti married Shukracharya. Lord Shiva taught him Sanjeevani Vidya, which could also make the dead person alive. However, Lord Shiva warned him not to abuse it. With the help of sheevani -mantra, the guru of the demons revived the dead demons, which they could fight with the gods. When Shiva Shukracharya once swallowed, the war broke out between the demons and followers of Lord Shiva. Nandi was the commander of the Shiv Sena. They went to Lord Shiva for help. When Lord Shiva got to know the abuse of Sanjeevani -Mantra, he swallowed Shukracharya and kept him in his stomach. The Demon Guru stayed in the stomach of Lord Shiva for thousands of years, looking for a way out, but failed. Then he was absorbed in the grave in the stomach and began to meditate on Shiva. Lord Shiva, who saw the dedication of the wise, forgave him and delivered him as semen (Venus). That’s why the sage called Shukracharya. Since the wise comes from the genitals of Shiva, he was also called the legal son of Lord Shiva. It is important to note that Bhrigu’s son was also called the name Ushna, which was only named after this incident with Shiva.
