Jakarta – PT Pertamina (Persero) unveiled the women’s empowerment program through various social programs aimed at the economic, health and education sector. This national energy business has promoted more than 12,000 female MSMEs, 1,000 members of the Farm Farmers Group, and 35 thousand beneficiaries of mothers and child health education through the Sehati program (healthy children and mother). According to Pertamina’s vice president of corporate communications, Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Pertamina’s women’s empowerment is carried out by the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program for the purpose of creating women who are independent, productive and can drive the village economy. “Through women who can be empowered and work, we believe that women can be a source of energy for the development of the country,” Fadjar concluded Tuesday (4/22/2025).
