The government here has promoted quinoa farming through special policy. Bolivia is in second place, where approximately 38,800 tonnes of Quinoa are produced annually. Ecuador comes in third place, where about 1,481 tonnes of quinoa is produced each year. Small countries such as Bhutan are now growing Quinoa, although annual production is only 12.87 tonnes.
