The Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom met Modi, support in the fight against Border boundaries Terrorism
New -delhi, June 7 (IANS). British Foreign Minister David Lammy met Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Saturday. He underlined the deep interest of Britain in the growing cooperation between the two countries and condemned the attack on April 22 Pahalgam and expressed support for India’s fight against border terrorism. After the meeting, Prime Minister Modi wrote on the social media platform X, “It was satisfied with British Foreign Minister David Lammy. I appreciate his important contribution in our widespread strategic partnership, which was recently reinforced by the recently concluded FTA. I appreciate the support of Britain in the country’s fight against terrorism.” During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi expressed satisfaction with the successful conclusion of the Indo biting free trade agreement and the conference with a double contribution and appreciated creative collaboration through both sides, which led to this milestone. Prime Minister Modi also welcomes the growing pace in bilateral relations and has expressed satisfaction with the deepening of India biting comprehensive strategic partnership. He welcomes ongoing collaboration under the Technology Safety Initiative and refers to the ability to form reliable and safe innovation ecosystem. In a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Foreign Minister David Lammy expressed his great interest in promoting cooperation in large areas, including matters and investment, defense and security, technology, innovation and clean energy. He expressed the confidence that FTA would open new economic opportunities for both countries. ‘The two leaders also exchanged ideas about regional and world issues. The statement reads: “The British Foreign Minister strongly condemned the Pahalgam terror attack and expressed support for India’s fight against border borders Terrorism. Prime Minister Modi emphasized the need for terrorism and decisive international action against those who support it.” The prime minister also greeted Britain’s Prime Minister Kir Starmer and repeated the invitation to get to India as soon as possible as soon as possible.
