This important lifeline on the Ganges River broke into four to five parts, bringing the movement of thousands of people completely to a standstill. It is a matter of relief that the people present on the bridge reached the other side on time and there was no loss of life. However, there is an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty among the people. More than 50 thousand villagers and passers -by -in areas such as Bhojpur, Ballia, Chhapra and Khawaspur have been severely influenced by the distribution of this bridge. Each day, about 25 thousand people crossed the Ganges through this route, which is now forced to travel with boats and endanger their lives. According to locals, dozens of people are filled with 12 to 15 motorcycles and crossed the Ganges on small boats with low capacity. Local residents have demanded that a permanent and strong bridge be built instead of this temporary Pipa bridge so that people can get relief from natural disasters every year and cannot disrupt the movement. At the same time, the officials involved are engaged in the connection of the bridge and the recovery of traffic, but the increased flow of the Ganges and the uncertainty of the weather challenging assistance. -Ians DSC/ABM shares this story -tags
