India is an exciting story, we can overcome all the challenges: CEA nightswaran
New -Delhi, September 18 (IANS). V. Anant offseran, chief economic adviser of the Government of India, appreciated the country’s growth story on Thursday. He said that anywhere in the world there is no country with such a large scope and diversity to change economic and social change on such a large scale and that we can overcome all kinds of challenges. Eseswaran spoke to Ians, saying that India has always been an exciting story. The most important economic adviser insisted: “Anywhere in the world, no country with such a large and diversity is trying to change economic and social change within the democratic structure. India has so far managed to come into a low medium income position from a low income situation.” He further said that we should not only learn from our failures, but also from our successes. Nagaswaran told the IANS news agency in the sidelines of an event organized by India Chamber of Commerce, “What we did? We did a lot of things? So I think it’s a good thing, especially in this uncertainty, to focus on some success stories, we talk about the miracles we talk to, and it will be an inspiration for us that we can conquer our challenges.” The CEA also congratulated the room, which has been around for 125 years, and said: “I wish the Indian Chamber of Commerce for my members and nation for many more years and decades of special service.” India was founded in the Chamber of Commerce 1900, one of the oldest, largest and leading trade rooms in the eastern region. On a question asked about the Indo-American trade talks and a conversation with US President Donald Trump on the 75th birthday of Premier Narendra Modi, offspring said he hoped that business barriers would be resolved soon. He further said: ‘I think the conversation is going on. I hope it will be resolved soon. ‘ Nightswaran said earlier that the Indian economy, despite the geopolitical uncertainty affecting tariff controversies and world trade, is in a better position for good news rather than shaking. He confirmed that the economy of India is in a strong position. Nagswaran has credited this power on a decade of reforms, including upgrading of digital and physical infrastructure and gradual formalization of small and medium enterprises. -Ians skt/
