Why I voted for Kamala, America and Africa by Chido Nwangwu

This candidate does not attempt to offend the heritage of millions of recent immigrants. It is driven by a worthy sense of responsibility and mission. First, for this US election of November 5, 2024, I have already voted for the person I believe to be the next president of the United States of America. This candidate does not attempt to offend the heritage of millions of recent immigrants. It is driven by a worthy sense of responsibility and mission. Secondly, I voted for strategic safety, economic prosperity, political diversity, freedoms and a basic feeling of decency. It seeks to respect different cultures and mosaic interests that make America a unique country of opportunity and diversity. It is not to torment and deport certain foreigners from the United States and deprive them of the comprehensive benefits of their heritage and cultural economy. Third, taking into account the most important conflicts, flashes and crises around, America must preserve and strengthen itself as a united country. It increases the ability to tackle its mainly external enemies – rather than the Trump hunt for what he called ‘enemies within’. Fourth, I believe that the choice of one of the two major candidates, namely: Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party and Donald Trump of the Republican Party has major consequences for the citizens and the country. Fifth, for a larger perspective and a great evaluation of the moral destination of the two fighters for the presidency, I take us back to think about the important words spoken by one of America’s largest soldiers of the past 100 years on June 3, 2020. He judged the insensitive, divisive and unworthy handling of the cruel, repayment murder on another non-confrontational black man, George Floyd,: ‘Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not want to unite the American people non-while trying to divide us without giving the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. Adult leadership. These are the profound words of Gen. James Norman Mattis, an embodiment of America’s highest commitment to his armed forces. He has placed in the Marine Corps for 44 years and retired as a USMC general. Then he came from retirement to serve as the 26th American Secretary of Defense from January 2017 to January 2019 – after an invitation from the current President Trump to rebuild the United States’ Armed Forces. Sixth earn Americans to be led by someone who will be a champion for all Americans. Without a scintilla of doubt, America needs a leader in these times without the poison of prejudice and explosive toxicity. This is a moral question in this struggle of 2024 for the proverbial soul of America. In the seventh place, I voted for someone with decades of service to Americans, a professional with the appropriate temperament, who owns the intelligence that fits a scholar of jurisprudence, an officer and leader in the struggle for legislation and order, a motivator of progress, a major for a new America-for a better economy, democracy and decision. Eight, I voted for a US president who would not be like former President Trump, notorious for: relentless hostility, indifference to opponents, megalomanic indulgence, impulsive incompetence and recklessness to destroy the first term in government, and disability and claim criminality during his first term in government. Yes; I voted for US established vice president Kamala Harris, a former senator, to be the next president of the world’s leading hyper-power! Ninth, Americans and most of the world, know this: There is no more time for Trump’s endless youthful incidents, self-advance, immoral expressions of racism and disgraceful division of this man from an ancient time, irreversible time. The time when blacks could not vote or be voted. The days and nights of darkness and hardship and decimation. No! Someone must tell him, “Mr. Trump, we are not going back!” I voted for Kamala Harris. I voted for America! I voted for Africa!
