Why is Hanuman ji worshiped before Diwali know the reason

New Delhi, October 18 (IANS). Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month will be Sunday (October 19) till 1:51 PM. After this Chaturdashi Tithi will begin. On this day there is a special combination of Kali Chaudas, Hanuman Puja and monthly Shivratri. According to Drik Panchang, the Sun will be in Libra on Sunday and the Moon in Virgo. Abhijeet Muhurta will start from 11:43 in the morning and will last till 12:29. The time of Trayodashi Tithi will be from 12:18 pm. on October 18 and will continue until 1:51 p.m. on October 19, according to which Chaturdashi will be celebrated on this day. Kali Chaudas is mentioned in Garuda Purana, where there is provision to donate lamps for Yamraj. It is mainly celebrated during Diwali festival in Gujarat. This festival is celebrated on Chaturdashi Tithi when Chaturdashi Tithi prevails at midnight which is called Maha Nishita Kaal. On this day, Maa Kali and Veer Vetal are especially worshiped in the crematorium. It is important to understand Kali Chaudas as different from Narak Chaturdashi or Roop Chaudas. On this day, devotees take special measures to get rid of negative energy. Tie turmeric, 11 Gomti Chakras, a silver coin and 11 cows in a yellow cloth and chant the mantra ‘Shree Lakshmi Narayanaya Namah’ 108 times and keep it in the safe. By doing this, obstacles in business are removed and financial gain is achieved. Offering some cloves to Goddess Kali eliminates negative energy. Offering gram dal and jaggery is also considered auspicious. By chanting the seed mantra of Maa Kali ‘Om Kreem Kreem Kreem Hoon Hreem Hreem Dakshine Kalike Kreem Kreem Hoon Hreem Hreem Swaha’ 108 times, one destroys the enemies and receives the blessings of Maa Kali. Along with this there is also Hanuman Puja on this day. Worshiping Lord Hanuman a day before Diwali is believed to have special significance. Worshiping Lord Hanuman on this day protects from evil spirits and gives strength. According to legend, Lord Rama gave a boon to Hanuman ji that he would be worshiped first. Hence there is a tradition of Hanuman puja before Diwali. Hanuman Janmotsav is celebrated on this day in the Hanumangarhi Temple of Ayodhya, although most of the devotees in North India celebrate Hanuman Jayanti on Chaitra Purnima. Recite Hanuman Chalisa and offer vermilion, jasmine oil and red flowers to Hanuman ji. It increases courage and confidence in life. Offering laddu or jaggery gram to Hanuman ji is also considered auspicious. Monthly Shivratri is celebrated on Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha of every month. This day symbolizes the union of Lord Shiva and Shakti. It is believed that on this day Lord Shiva appeared in the form of Linga and Lord Vishnu and Brahmaji worshiped him. By observing monthly Shivratri fast, difficult tasks are completed and happiness and peace remain in married life. Shivratri which falls on Tuesday is considered particularly auspicious. On this day, anoint Shivling with milk, curd, honey and Ganga water. Offer Belpatra, Dhatura and Bhang. Chant Shiva Panchakshar Mantra ‘Om Namah Shivay’ 11 times with Rudraksha Mala.
