Earlier, he refuted on the statement of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis on the proposal to rename Shivajinagar Metro Station in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, to ‘St. Mary Metro Station ‘in which he said it is an insult to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. TS Singh Dev said: ‘There is nothing against Shivaji Maharaj. Some people started this name change.
